my tail lights and brake lights work sometimes and sometimes they don't. Also when I try to start it, it makes clicking sound before starting, but not everytime. Sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't. I was told the "alternator regulator" was bad and i needed a new alternator, but didn't go through with it because it wasn't happening often. could the altenator also make my lights work intermittently?
