Default 150w KC spot beams kit w 20 amp daystar switch

I purchased the kc hilite 150 watt spot beam kit and the 20 amp daystar switch . Being that there is a relay on the kc lights do I new to do anything special when wiring it to the 20 amp switch??? Thanks!!

I would suggest running an inline fuse incase something shorts out. The fuse will pop instead of the wiring burning up and causing a fire.

Run the fused full voltage wire from the battery to the relay and then to the lights, and find a low output wire ( ex. headlight turn on wire to splice/ empty fuse in the panel/ whatever) to run to the switch and back to the relay trigger to turn lights on. This only needs millivolts. Do not run full (battery power) to the switch even with a fuse. Good luck. There are diagrams online if KC didn't send instructions.
