The silver part is the grilles for them. They do look pretty mean and intimidating. And the sound backs it up

What is your amp set up. A single amp or two. I had a 1600 and 1200 powering my old one

Well I'm a broke 17 year old an all I could afford at the time was the subs and a 1500w amp. I know they're way underpowered but im working on getting another 1500w or maybe two. Also have a 500K micro farad capacitor(walmart sh!t) that I got dirt cheap and it helps some...

My 4 farad took care of my problems.

I hate cap's that have all the damn blinking LED's on them. Sure in a car with a trunk its not bad but in a hatch or suv its annoying.
