My antenna is mounted to the spare tire mount and my Cobra 75 is mounted under the passenger seat.
Firestik with flush mount, quick disco and spring

Until2004, I really like that setup. It must have been a pain taking those pictures under the seat. Let me say good job. 
I'm leaning toward a Cobra 75 myself. I noticed the Midland needed to be plugged into the power outlet. Can someone tell me if the Cobra is hard wired to the battery? I didn't see a power cord on it.
