Default Midland MXT575 GMRS radio

I finally decided to enter the GMRS world and picked up the new Midland MXT575 micro mobile radio. I wanted a radio that was easy to install and use, and was powerful. This radio gives you a full 50 watts of power. It includes everything you need to be up and running in the box, and offers many different mounting options. All the functions and display are built into the microphone, so the radio base can be hidden out of the way. The radio base has a built in speaker and USB-C charger as well. Anyone on the fence about picking up a GMRS radio, you will not be disappointed with this one. This thing is just awesome compared to using a CB, and looks great too.

Nice! Yeah I picked up some Midland GXT1030 handheld radios as well. It's nice having a portable radio for the trail, camping or just about anywhere. Having the range of a mobile unit and versatility of a portable unit is the best of both worlds.
