There's a disclaimer on my comment before... The antenna will rub the spare, but it doesn't really bend it, so I see no harm. I'll try to get some pics up for you. My SWR is about 2.3 on 1&40 and 1.2 on 20. I'm grounded on the inside gate hinge (behind the carpet). Oh yeah, I have a Cobra 75 installed under the glove box.

i've got the tera flex gate mount mounted upside down with a 4' firestick and i'm about 6" over my soft top
