It will work with any mygig, so it will work with your 09. The main difference between the version 1 and 2 is a frontward facing camera input. Which I don't see why you need a frontward facing camera if you can see yourself. Thanks, Matt

thanks matt, I'm on vacation for the next week, so I don't have direct access to my computer. If ya still have it next week then we'll keep in touch. Does it come with a mic for the uconnect, or would I need to purchase one of those to.
