My fellow jeepers,

I am/have been looking for a cool unique spot I can propose to my girlfriend. I have been looking for a trail that is pretty long and ends up on top of preferably a mountain or some type of overlooking scenery. I am part of a few different jeep clubs in Mass but the trails so far have not shown me what I am looking for. I know of two spots that offer this but both of them are 4+hours away and was looking for something a bit closer.

She is also really into jeeps and wheeling to the point that she said i don't need to spend a bunch of money on a ring as long as i buy her an ol' beater jeep that she can wheel with me. (I know it sounds too good to be true but its the truth)

I know most people do not want to give out their spots on the internet but a PM would work too.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

so the plan is to drive here out into the middle of nowhere, potentially mountanous, no way for her to walk back if she says no and breaks your heart.

kidding aside, if you cant find the right spot, just skip finding that spot, buy the beater jeep, reveal it to her and propose, she gave you the idea numbnutz.

 

There is some mild wheeling in Shnespit forest in sommers and if you follow the fire road up you can climb the fire tower and there is a great view

 

Haha, classic awesome response. That is a good idea though I guess I should start jeep shopping! Although when are we not jeep shopping...

 

That is a pretty cool view, I was on google maps the other day trying to find said fire road. Couldn't come up with the street name. Unless it's soap stone road? I've been to a spot in Ellington I think it was pretty close to there.
