I'm sorry to say but this is a pain in the ass. How the hell do you understand what these wires goto? The fortin is a nice unit but between having to try to pry the wires out, and figure out what goes where? I am at a loss. I am beyond frustrated. Now I have to put this crap back on cause it's now getting dark out. Sorry, needed to vent. I am sure for anybody but me would do this in 15 minutes. But I am wrestling with trying to unplug the the first set of wires and it won't budge. So now I am paranoid I am going to break something that will involve my my dealership. Sorry, just frustrated

Ok, I now have it hooked up. Few things I should mention. I am far from someone who is handy with anything under the hood of a car, I was also very frustrated. With that being said, I was on the phone with the Fortin people a few times. I watched the video about hundred times. There was no reference of anyone mentioning the cutting of the yellow wire and connecting it to the data links yellow wire??? I also had to changed a setting on the computer using the flash link. Glad I bought that! Anyways, I'm glad I got it to work. It was a pain in the ass.

Glad you got it working. Mine came preprogrammed for the wrangler. No cutting of any wires, etc. Just plugged and played.

Honestly, that's what I was hoping for. That's why I bought the flash link. I programmed it and everything. It was basically using the harness with all those wires and connecting the t harness with the yellow wire. That's what it took to work! I would have never have known that if I didn't call. What a pain. But glad it's working. Now I have to take it out again and program it so the horn doesn't go off when the engine starts.
