Locker Differential Issue?
Hi,
This is my first post. I apologize in advance if this has been addresses in a previous post.
I bought 94 Wrangler about a month ago. Got a really good deal on it. Started driving it and noticed that while turning, the jeep bucks and I am getting a bunch of clicking. Someone told me it most likely has lockers.
My question is... is the amount of bucking I get normal? Because it really doesn't make it any fun to drive on the street and I look like an idiot pulling into a shopping center and making turns.

As stated above, this guys problem sounds like he either has the vaccum stuck on so it's in 4wd all the time, or he has a front auto locker like a truetrack, detroit or even a spool in there that's screwing up his on-road driving.
Buying rigs this old are risky since you don't know what you are getting, but you probably felt part of this problem on the test drive. Maybe you can give the previous owner a call and ask what's in there?
