2008 Jeep Sahara Unlimited - Needs work/good project jeep
Asking $12,000
Sahara Redrock 4 dr 6 speed, no accidents, never off-roaded by me(no idea if previous owner did), oil changes performed regularly by me and/or friend that is ASE certified mechanic. A/C works great as well as all other electronics of the jeep.
Mileage roughly 110,000 (will get exact figure tonight)
Engine needs work, and I just dont have the time right now to work on it (starting a new position at work and prob. going back to school as well) so I am hoping someone looking for a deal or someone who enjoys working on jeeps would like to fix this up. Engine will need to be rebuilt/replaced most likely. Vehicle is running, power is good in each gear. The engine is making a knocking sound and it is not accessory related (removed tensioner belt and sound still exists). My mechanic friend is going to look at it tonight to verify. If my (non professional
diagnosis is wrong, it will still be for sale but the price will be changed to reflect not rebuilding/replacing the engine - closer to the 16k mark.)

- Stock hard top with 'Hothead' headliner insulation.
- Cruise Control
- Misch armrests
- Front and rear grab handles
- Front and rear Jeep 'tire tread' slush matts
- Differential fluid and front pads changed 2 months ago.
- Stock 18" Rims with Duratrac 275/70R-18 with good tread (50% range) left (full size spare has 100% left).
- Katzkin leather seats with front driver and passenger heaters installed a year ago.
- Also included is Bestop Safari, Windjammer, and duster cover in almost new shape.
- Exterior silver Sahara trim has been removed.
- Hoodlift gas shocks.
- Mesh grille mod.
- Power inverter with plugs installed in armrest.
- Plasti-Dipped Rims black currently.
- Stock running boards (passenger side has a crack in the plastic about 4inches)
- Passenger door has some rust in a dent about 3 inches up from the bottom(will get picture up tonight).
