I had to chose .30-.30 cuz it's the only one I own. However for an end of times survival back up I'd chose a revolver .357 Mag. Assuming ammo would eventually become scarce at least I'd have 2 choices for that.

Interesting choice on the Tec-9.

However, not sure if their is going to be a need to rob Liquor Stores in the end times.

Still surprised the AR is ahead of the AK by as much as it is.

I have both and although somewhat having "black rifle fever", I'd still think I would rather take the Klash (or Garand) just for reliability.

Just just cant go wrong with a piston versus gas tube for action cycling.

However the AR comes way way out ahead on lightness and being able to carry twice the amount of rounds on you due to the weight.

You are looking at almost 4lbs difference between the 90 rounds

FEG PA-63...i know, i know. It's basically a cheap Walther copy. But hear me out here. It has a kind of Bond-like quality that I like. If we are talking zombies busting in my house-style....12-gauge all day long. But, like some kind of post-apocolytic shizzznit. I am taking my small, concealable, lightweight .380. I have heard people tell me its a shit gun...but mine has NEVER misfired. Of all the guns I have shot, bought, and sold, I never seem to get rid of this little $150 .380. I am fairly accurate with any handgun, (cept D-Eagle, hate those) but for some reason I just shoot headshots in my sleep from 50yards with this gun. I catch so much shit for it...but its true. In the Mad-Max-style survivor situation, the golden rule (which I try to live by) goes out the window. Wit, deception, and manipulation are my weapons and this little gun is so concealable it is like pulling an ace out of your sleeve. Please! Don't shoot....put my hands up, oh man thank god you're here, please drop your AK/AR down a bit just help me with this for a sec.....I have got some food......what's your name, where you from.....BAM, never see it coming. Realistically, could never do that to anyone though. Just thought it's worth pointing out, your brain is your best weapon.

I voted for the AR since mine has never failed to fire. It's easy to break down and clean. It's got a proven track record too and I am very comfortable with it. I would stake my life on it.

Having said that, I almost voted for the M1 Carbine. Mine is a 1943 Inland and is still a very lethal weapon. Truth be told, if the sh*t hits the fan most likely you're facing urban close combat situations anyway so the M1 Carbine is still a viable option. Although it may not pack as much punch as some others, it still goes bang every time I pull the trigger and with it's size it's easy to maneuver in tight situations.
