What Pistol do you carry daily?

To the teeth
Might be carrying any and /or all of the following:
Springfield Armory XD9 Sub Compact in CrossBreed SuperTuck (strong side hip) or chest stretch holster (under arm) or open carry in Blackhawk Sportster for hunting, fishing, camping.
S&W BodyGuard 38 Special in chest stretch holster (under arm) or Blackhawk pocket holster (especially in cargo pants) or Galco leather tuck (not my favorite holster).
Ka-Bar TDI (my little "cat-claw") weak side in pants reverse grip.
Ka-Bar fullsize USMC with leg strap. (Now that's a knife!)
Sabre-Red pepper spray (for 4-legged animals while jogging or biking).
The stretchy chest (under arm) holster works great on the beach with swimsuit, sandals and a loose Tee shirt but more accessible with a polo or Hawiian shirt. A shirt pocket makes it even less likely to print.
Oh, and be sure to have a Tuffy lock box for when you have to leave them behind.

My glock 26 was all over the place. I could never get consistant shots out of it. Put it up for sale and it literally sold 5 minutes after I put it up at the dealer. Bought a 92fs and am in love with it.

Super hot summertime is here. Right now I am packing a Sig P238 Equinox w/crimson trace trigger guard laser. Light and accurate.
Anyone that has one of thee pistols might want to consider doing what I did last night. I loved the gun but the trigger spring tension was so high people thought the gun wasn't working when they shot it. It was about 10.5lbs before the break. That is a lot in a single action. I took it apart to see what wat so strong and found that the mainspring was bent like 45* forward toward the trigger putting lots of pressure on it. (My gun isn't messed up, they are all that way) So I took out the mainspring and straightened out that leg of it, put it back together, and the trigger pull weight is now half what it was. I plan to buy a lighter spring and clean up the sear/hammer and try to get it a consistant clean break at 4lbs. We will see.
My cold weather carry is about to be a Kahr CW45 that I am putting some XS sights on.

I don't like waistband carry. I find it's uncomfortable all day with my occasional lower back problems. Also sitting for long periods is not so great, and it jams into my body. I'm 6' tall and very thin so there is nowhere at the belt to put a gun and not have it print in summertime clothes (or look like I have a giant tumor).
So in the summer I carry a Smith M&P 38/357 in my cargo shorts pocket, and in the winter I use an ankle holster or jacket pocket. As long as I wear straight-leg or boot-leg pants it doesn't print with the ankle holster. I keep the Smith loaded with 3 rounds of Corbon DPX 38 followed by 2 rounds of 357 magnum.
But my preferred way to carry is in a shoulder bag. The one I use is a thin rectangle-shape (as opposed to a fat camera bag or pouch shape), and i wear it on one shoulder or cross-shoulder. It's made of a black tech-fabric and looks very utilitarian. This fits my FN Five-Seven perfectly. 20 rounds of near rifle-velocity firepower (with 40 more in 2 spare mags in the slim side pocket). The Five-Seven has virtually no recoil, a single-action/light trigger, and is incredibly easy to shoot. Closest analogy to shooting it would be a heavy revolver shot single-action. If you've ever shot a full-size steel 45 Colt in single action mode, it's like that. Plus it's light. Very light. Factory rounds for this gun can put a nice finger-sized protrusion in a phycho's body armor, and other manufacturers high-power ammo will do worse and/or penetrate the armor. I think this is the best setup for repelling a well-planned and prepared attacker. Might as well just hit them with any other handgun if they have body armor or hope against hope for a headshot. I was fortunate enough to find my Five-Seven used but unfired for several hundred less than new.
