I also carry glock 23 .40 smith and wesson with the galco IWB holster with belt clip. I cant it forward at about the 4oclock position, cheap holster, very easy to get the gun out not as easy to get it back in,but if you need it the last thing you are worried about is putting it back in. I can concele it with shorts and t-shirt no prob

Where I live owning a gun and even carrying a gun is almost like part of being a responsible citizen or something... We have to take classes and get a permit to carry here so there are no felons or whack jobs carrying legally. Of course them carrying illegally is the main reason WE carry. Lots of crimes have been stopped and innocent lives saved all over the nation by CHL carriers using their weapon. God forbid I have to use my weapon... but if I do it is better them than me. (or my family)

 

If I need to explain it to you, for you to "get" it, you never will. I have made the mistake of getting sucked into that before. I carry a gun for protecting my family because the cops cant be everywhere all the time, as much as they may want to be, they simply cant. You dont know my situation any more than i know yours, so I wont judge your disinterest in carrying one, dont judge me for my interest in doing so. To each thier own, etc. I enjoy shooting, i have since i was old enough to shoot my first 22. I still enjoy it and go whenever i can. I especially love handguns as they present thier own unique set of nuances that require a certain level of mastery to control. I carry it because of threats to my family from people that just might keep thier promise. If they show up here and try, they wont be going home to make more threats. The cops cant get here fast enough, but I can, and will. If those threats didnt exist, i probably wouldnt carry it every day, but until that time, I'll keep practicing, and carrying.
