Was carrying my Glock 27 daily but since about February I've starting carrying a S&W Body Guard 38. I love how light it is.

Don't get to really carry anymore now that I'm stationed in California, but this is the one that I rely on for home and self-defense.

Come to TEXAS I can roll with a ar 15 locked and loaded. I would bet the Cali crime rate is above Texas even with their dumb a$$ gun laws. Remember ciminals dont follow laws, only people that wont cause problems do.

I think the gun laws out here are the worst part of living in California.

I carry a Kimber Ultra CDP II, replaced my Kahr CW45, just never liked the DOA that Kahr claims to be as smooth as a single action. It's good, but not lazy man easy like the 1911 is.

My brother got a super redhawk 454 alaskan for Christmas from his wife. I think he fired it twice to get familiar with it and hasn't since.
He says the power on that damn thing is incredible but nowhere near practical as a daily carrier, and boarder line overkill as a defense weapon.
Then again, if he finds himself in a situation with a bear, or a bull elk charging him, I don't think he will hesitate to pull this piece first.
Personally, I have been known to carry everything from a 1911 to my M9 (service issue), and on occasion I'm not ashamed to say a Kel-Tec P32. I guess it depends on where I'm going, what I'm doing, and which one feels right for that day.

Well.......I live in AK. and have been around big bears for almost 30 years now. I sold my S&W 44 mag a few years ago. I wanted to get another pistol to have in the tent or while fishing with the family. I considered the 454 Casull. But watched a guy with REAL big arms shoot one and said no thanks. I'm not a real big guy. I ended up with a Ruger Redhawk in 45 Colt. Went this route when I found out it could handle the Buffalo Bore rounds that throw a 325 grain slug at 1325 fps. That's a bigger and faster slug than a 44mag. Figured that was good enough for my needs as I don't have a carry permit. Besides, I'll have my big bore rifle with me most the time anyway.

My duty weapon is a Glock 22 and in the ankle holster is a 27. The 27 goes from ankle to hip when i leave. So since i own a few Glocks beside those two, i guess you could say i carry a Glock daily
