though it has only been removed from it's holster once, I never had to pull the trigger. Just it's presence diffused the situation. I wont hesitate to do so if i feel it is warranted, but i hope i never have the need to discharge it.

anyone have a Ruger SR9c? I saw a pic of one and was curious about it. looks small enough to not print to badly.

I carry a G19, but wouls like a G26 or similar subcompact someday. I want to trade in my HK USP Compact on something i will actually use.
I just checked out the SR9c,, its just slightly smaller than the SR9,, its ok,, but not really that small,, looks smaller in the ads.. I was hoping it be as small as say a walther ppk but it wasnt.. I'm getting a LCP for the wife to carry.. I carry a RIA compact 45.. heavy but small.. small as the SR9c.. but not as light or smooth shaped.. and its a 45..but I'm still thinking about it.. cant have too many you know..

I rarely carry, but when I do it is usually a little 22... I have a 5.7, but darned if I know how to hide that thing on my body.

If I felt I might actaully need to use it, I can only think of the Smith & Wesson AirWeight as what I would want on me. Small, light, and easily hidden.

Not something I would want to take to a range... but the few cops I know only recommend that.

A few different ones:

5.7 - I've tried to carry it, but very uncomfortable
FNP-9 - Great all around gun, great winter carry
Taurus Slim (9mm) - Summer carry
S&W J-Frame (.357)- Stays in the Jeep 24/7
