That's a nice P7 and a very nice rig to go with it. Who is the maker? I had a PSP w/factory night sights that I left with the ex Wife when we divorced, on the condition that if she ever wanted to sell it I get first crack. Wonderful 9mm's, they do get a little toasty after 30+ rounds though

I personal favorite is the Glock model 22. It is a 40 caliber that has a ton of stopping power and the Glock operates well in less than perfect out door condition. Of course it is just for the rattlers.

My Carry Pistol
While I don't carry it on a daily basis (work prohibits), when I travel (90% of the time) I have my Walther P99 .40cal. Unquestionable stopping power and no doubt it will fire under any circumstance. My only complaint is that it's bulky and hard to conceal. So, I am looking at a Para Nite Hawg .45 cal. Ugly, yet very, very effective and concealable.

My Concealed carry choice
I am about to get my CHL, and I want to get a carry piece. I was going to get a glock G36 (the slim single stack .45) but I really want a gun with a hammer. I don't have anything against glock, and I keep a G21 (the full sized 13+1rd .45) in my Jeep most of the time. Well this gun is way too big to carry except when wearing heavy winter clothing. I also have a keltec P32 with the 10rd mag for the hot summer days and shorts.
I need something in between. Guns I am thinking about: a Sig P229 in .357sig, Sig P220 carry, Sig P239 in .357sig, USP compact in .357sig, or maybe even the P30.... The P229 in .357 is my first choice, but I am worried about size and weight for concealed carry. Anyone packing one?
