Eventually get an underseat lockbox to store.

I've got both the 42 and 43. I still mostly carry the 42. Love both. Love the 42 more.

I think I'll carry the G42 more myself. Carried over the weekend and barely noticed it unless bending over. I shot both yesterday and at 7yrds & 15 yrds I grouped the G42 slightly better.

What holster are you using for the G42 when you carry? I want to use an IWB to carry in the appendix area.

Might sound crazy but my favorite two holsters right how are the incog and the liion defense x-klip.

The x Klip is great for carrying while driving a lot or with no physical activity to worry about. It stays very snug on the trigger guard and requires a very positive draw stroke.

The incog is just a sweet holster low profile, smooth and comfortable. I carry either a 19, an xd mod 2 45, or an xd 4" 45 in any one of these holsters. The incog and the 19 are soul mates.

Thanks! Just was looking at them. Really like the incog. A lot! Half guard or full guard for appendix carry? Leaning towards full.

I have a full guard for my XDs above 3.3" barrel. I still use that holster for the 4" and above. The other is a half guard.

I will say that if you wear an undershirt when you carry the Half guard is adequate and comfortable. If I'm wearing very minimal clothing the full guard is still comfortable. It's driving where I notice the difference. If I'll be in the jeep driving and carrying, Half guard all day. But as I said, if I know I'll be in the jeep for the majority I'll roll an x Klip. I have these for all my XDs, my glocks, and my sr9. Great inexpensive carry option. Especially for 12-1 o clock position, invisible and comfortable.

They do make incogs for the baby glocks too. If I had a 42(3) I would get one no hesitation.

I use a kydex IWB I picked up off Ebay. I usually wear it on the hip, but it can easily be appendix carried. One thing I really like about the IWB kydex holsters is that when you carry with one in the chamber, as I mostly do, you can take the entire package out and put it away without removing the gun from the holster, thus making it safer to handle. It is also good for taking a dump. You can again, remove the holster/gun without unholstering the gun.

Btw, I highly recommend Truglo TFX sights on the 42 or any of the Glocks. They are super bright, and easy to aquire, day or night. The fiber optics magnify the tritium at night, and really pick up the light in the daytime, too.
