Same here. Coming from a J frame it's more comfortable and I prefer a 45.

The G36 is a great piece. I have one with the pierce +1 grip extension on my mags. It fits my hands perfectly now and the 7th round in the mag is never a bad thing.

I carry a S&W M&P .40. It's light enough to carry all day and provides the added punch of a .40 cal round.
