You carry that daily? What are you afraid of?

I've carried a Kimber Ultra cdp II in a Crossbreed SuperTuck for the last 2 years. I was nervous buying a Kimber with their Volkswagen-esque reliability (it either works fantastically or it's an absolute lemon, with no in between) over the last few years, but mine has cycled countless rounds flawlessly.

Oklahoma recently enacted an open carry law, so I might pick up an OWB holster some time, or maybe even a new XDm and OWB package, but mainly just for the comfort of concealing under a jacket rather than true open carry.

I'm hoping that Texas will enact the open carry law soon. I carry concealed now, but OWB is much more comfortable for me.

The bad with open carry is we've seen a lot more gun buster signs going up in the last 2 weeks. Hopefully after a while these businesses come to their senses, but until then, their competitors get my money.

No worries. Around where I live, everyone open carries during hunting season anyways. I'm a big fan of open carry; I can't believe we went away from it years ago.

Despite having nothing against folks carrying openly, I would not do it. For the simple reason that I would be alerting a bad guy and being his first target, unless of course everyone around also openly carried, which would become a deterrent. Meaning that presently I prefer to keep the surprise element to myself. ;-)

I can't decide between a Glock G20 10mm or a Springfield XD-M .45. Opinions?

.45 ACP. It is easier to find and is potentially less expensive. Have you considered an FNS .45?
