Looks like a pretty good top ten to me. I would've put the High Power a little further up the list though. Although it is still popular here, I would say that it is to many other countries what the 1911 is to the United States. There are BHPs and clones all over the globe.
I was surprised to not see the Makarov or any CZ 75 variants, but I guess there's only room for ten.

No Sig P226? I have a sweet P225 (not a P6) but the P226 is used by many LEO.
I have several Glocks including a 17 and a Springer LW Chsmpion 1911. I agree with them.

I pretty much like the list, except for the Mauser "Broomhandle" & Walther PPK pistols.
I don't think they should be on the list.
The German Luger, I feel, should replace the "Broomhandle."
The Walther PPK??? Well.....To me, It's just a copy cat, scaled down version of the Luger & 1911 put together.
Whatever......Just my .

PPK is a good gun but, agreed when I read my copy yesterday was quite surprised to see the PPK and no Luger???
I guess because the PPK has had a significant life after it's Military origins unlike the Luger.

I thought that the Ruger Mk I, II, and III .22 semi-autos should have been on the list. Go to any range and you will see scores of these guns. This is the gun that really started Ruger on their path to success. Go figure. I guess any top ten list will be missing someone's choices and have some surprises on it too.
