Wow.....you are really loadin' up. I bet your friends and family really love you, as I'm sure you're sharing. Do you vaccum pack the stuff or does it not last long enough to worry about freezer burn....???....
Oh....and your 270 made me think of mine. I have a Browning A-Bolt in 270 that was given to me by a hunter I guided for caribou and brown bear years ago. I haven't shot a box of shells through it yet.....

Im only getting the back straps off them now due to the heat and all but july 4th is gonna be a nice day to eat at my place . This winter when it cools off damn near the whole hog will go home. Vacum packing is the way to go I still lose some meat but not as bad as regular ziploc's, .270 is a great round here in Texas just right for long range shots and it doesnt destry the meat on deer and hogs take yours out for a few shots I will shoot mine over anything I have
