Default Rock River Arms

So i'm looking for a rifle never owned a AR before I have always been of the school of thought that "you get what you pay for". These seem like some bad ass rifles but it seems odd that they are so relatively cheap for such a built rifle like I said dont know much about AR's so if anyone could educate me that would be great. Thanks

Ps. looking at this one RRA LAR-15 Tactical Operator2 they say it retails at about $1000

This one? RRA makes quality rifles. I've carried one at work for several years now. They are a relatively small company, but build dependable equipment.

You could also piece an AR together. Theyre simple enough that you dont even need instructions- just look at how the pieces fit together. You get all the pieces you need for the basic rifle, and then finish it with the accessories you want, scope, sights, whatever

They are great guns and they are priced right...Also check out CMMG and Stag. I just priced out building another M4 and it seems that I can buy a complete gun cheaper than I can build one right now..

On that Rock River.. I would put that Dominator II on it with an E-otech/Acog and your good to go.

I am a rifle instructor for my police dept. and the LAR 15 is our issued patrol rifle. You will not be disappointed!. The rifle is excellent and RRA Customer Service cant be beat. $1000 is a good deal considering my dept. price is @ $850.

I would (and have) built all of my own AR's.. this way you can add exactly what you want and aren't limited to only what that company offers as options. Bravo Company Machining ( www.bravocompanyusa.com ) is another great company to buy parts or full rifles from. You can always browse the www.AR15.com forums for some reviews on parts and such. Most of the different manufacturers actually post there/ respond to customer issues through there, should they arise.

bought my first RRA Tactical Entry and loved it for just under $1,000.00. Built a custom rifle with various components from Del-Ton.com and it shot and performed just as well and for just shy of 600.00

you can build a great Ar15 platform if you know what to look for and what you want to accomplish with it

Spend some time on AR15.com. It is my second favorite website!
