Default New pistol!

Just bought a new pistol. I went with the 3rd Generation Glock 23 40s&w. It came with 2 13rd clips, case and cleaning acc. I bought it used but I checked it out and it was hardly used at all!

Lol. I've had two Glocks and sold them to friends - they just don't work for me. I guess I'm a 1911 guy...

Nothing wrong with a 1911. Very well made gun.

Now I will be deciding between AR-15 and a AK-47

I say go with the AR-15!

BTW, the Glock 23 has been one of my duty guns for 10+ years and never failed me once, until my department issued Sure Fire X300 lights for our guns, then it wouldn't feed ammo consistently. That gun was however probably one of the oldest with light rails, so they retired that gun and issued me a new one. My other primary duty gun is now a Glock 22 which is a great gun.

Although 1911's are quite possibly the best handgun ever made, and would be my first choice if my department would allow us to carry them. At my first department I carried a fairly heavily modified Colt 1911 and it was still my favorite handgun I have ever shot.
