as noted in earlier posts, the m-16/m-4 series is fine as is (i've used one bone stock for years too). but over the past decade i have learned that there is one "must have" accessory: a weapon mounted light. if you are looking for a plinking toy, then the light is not necessary, but if you are looking for a defensive weapon that will be used for close range engagements, then a light is indespensible. a decent light set up will set you back about $400. they are not cheap, but imho one would be foolish to spend money on "fashion accessories" before an accesory that can mean the difference between winning and losing a gunfight.

$400 for a flashlight and mount? Damn, you can get a Surefire on a LaRue QD mount for under $150. I don't like hanging a lot of crap off the barrel anyway. I dislike weapon mounted lights, just never found it all that important to have, but a real must have is a crap load of magazines, you can never have to many magazines.

i wouldn't sell right now prices are scyrocketing and availability is getting scarce. If the our new presidential administration gets their way they will ban the sale of all new "black guns" and this will cause values to climb even more. If you are just trying to get rid of an AR you might want to wait. You probably already know this, but just a little info anyway.

What availability???? THERE ARE NONE! Call around and you will see...well, scratch that you might find one but there is a $500+ premium on even the most basic models. Sucks but it is what it is.
