Nice shooting! Man, I'm gonna have to look into getting a license in NJ. I keep going back to PA every year, but I see more deer here!

Dang! You are one luck SOB That part of Texas is freaking awesome. I floated the Frio this summer. While we were there I did a bike ride through that area and I saw plenty of deer. I'm jealous.

Congrats Where'd you hit her as I don't see any blood? Also, Why is it that you don't gut your deer out in the field...???

Default here is mine...

here is my girlfriend holding mine from this year....its on a trailer being pulled by my jeep (you can barely see the bumper and tail light). does that count? it wouldn't fit on my bumper rack very well this is just the start of many more to come this year.

I hit her on her right side just above the shoulder. She didnt leave a bloodtrail that i could find. I just watched and listened to where she went after i shot her. I actually saw the arrow hit and stick in her. She ran about 60 yards. I usually dont gut deer in the field. I usually hang them up, skin them, and then gut them lastly. I usually take the whole deer to be processed. If I had to drag a deer a long way, i would probably gut it first.
