I was out on Saturday doing some field work before the snow gets to deep in the higher elevation and came across this buddy chowing down on a dead moose! Glad I didn't meet him while I was walking in the bush doing some site survey's.....Filling his belly before he goes for a long winter nap!

Kinda caught him off guard by coming up this Forest Service Road!

Looks like a young one, but then again, even a pissed off young one could become a nightmare very quickly.

thanks Lorrel....it was chowing down on a cow moose. Was not happy while I was taking his picture. I figure he was a 3 or 4 year old...beautiful coat!

I was in my Dodge Ram CTD when I took the pictures....I had bear spray just in case he got really mad
