Default Great bowhunting trip in South Texas

Shot a doe, 9 pt buck and 2 hogs in a couple of sits with the ol' Bowtech Tribute. Great hunt at a friends place. Things are slow at my lease in west Tx so I jumped at the chance to go south.

Two perfect heart shots on the deer. They both fell in sight.

To make it jeep related.....I had two coolers, 3 gun cases, a bow case, and duffle bag in the back of a two door jeep (seat removed of course)!

Nice harvest.
I too remove the rear seat and cram enough crap in my 2 dr to fill up an hd pickup when I go hunting. Its amazing how much crap you can fit in a Jeep when you want to.

Always a good day when you get to hunt. Glad you got a few deer as well. Its fun to hunt in South Texas. Killed my first deer (doe) with my bow down there outside Encinal a few years ago.

Congrats! Thanks for the pics. I wish I could speed up the clock so PA rifle season comes sooner than three more weeks.

Count your blessings....at least you guys get to hunt in good hunting weather. Our moose season has been over since Sept 20th. They've got us hunting in what seems like to me, is like hunting in the summer time. Hot, rainy, and tons of bugs. It's the shits, and I'm getting more and more pissed about it every year.
