Default Double stacked 1911 .45?????

What would the going price be for a lightly used Para 1911 as described in title? Pros and cons or anything I should know about this.

Also any info on Sako 85 300 mag. good or bad never heard of it before tonight.

Thanks

Depending on what model it is and condition there base models are at like 550 plus new so I mean really just depends on condition and model but for a used base model I'd say 375.00 to 425.00 at least where I am at.

Is there anything I should look for? The gentleman I was talking to about it said he only sent about 30-40 rounds through it. this is one of over 300 guns he has That I seen. Kind of reminded me of the movie Tremors

I would look down the barrel and see how the rifelings look and make sure the slide isn't loose also what kind of shape is the bluing is in.

I've owned a Para Ordnance Big Hawg.

It was a great feeling and great shooting gun....

but it just didn't last..... the ejector came loose, the magazine would drop out of the gun while shooting.

Maybe newer models are different. I did read that the big hawg had some mfg problems...but should be fixed now.

I'd buy one again if they did indeed improve. It was a great feeling gun. Amazing.

Same situation with my Kimber. I had a 3" model Ultra, and it was a pile of dung. It felt great, but no amount of oil or lube would keep it reliable.

So to sum this up.

Jams and poor craftsmanship.

personal opinion here....
If you must have a double stack 1911 go Colt, or Springfield

I know thats know in everyone's budget.

In which case I would suggest go with a quality single stack 1911,
or go with a different platform ie; XD45, Glock 21/30
