Once I get some extra cash, I'm picking up the Ruger SP101 with the laser grip. Sweet little gun and I love the way it feels in my hand.

I have a S&W Mod 19 "Combat Magnum", no doubt it is one sweet shooting pistol. Basically same thing as a 686, just predates it.

The difference between a 686 and 19 is a 686 is Stainless and the 19 is blue. Personal preference here. (I have a 19 and a 66 so I can just choose. ) For a jeep gun stainless is great... no worries... clean it with break cleaner. (ok not really) Blue takes a little more care, but damn does it look good.

The BEST is a Colt Python, no longer in production, but be prepared to spend some $$$.

Dan Wesson, if you can find one. I'm no expert, I just like it.
