The discoloration is called case annealing. Annealing is a process wherein heat is applied to a metal in order to change its internal structure in such a way that the metal will become softer. They make the neck area softer to make it easier to resize the neck without cracking the case.

I DESPISE the Russian Tul Ammo crap. It never loads right in my Colt HBAR...even if I am using my PMAG 30-rounders. It jams EVERY TIME!

Just bought WPA for the first time. Picked it up for .22 a round.

Im always checking Ammo ENgine and Wideners always has the cheapest prices.
