Remington 700 BDL with a 22" barrel and get a box of Hornady V-Max to run through it.

You might want to try a Remington R-25 or the like. Also Tikka and Howa make some good rifles at reasonable prices.

Bought my wife a Ruger #1, she's a lefty. I can shoot it too. Method to the madness... I know, "you bought your wife a rifle???" its a single shot, gave myself a fighting chance...

X2. I have a Remington 700. It shoots well. I like the Hornady V-Max 75 gr the best. I have the 58 and 65 gr also but 75 seems to be the best although I reload my own ammo so it will shoot different than factory ammo. Only use V-Max when varmint hunting. Not deer hunting. I use Hornady 100gr BTSP's for deer.

Savage predator hunter. Accutrigger is the best on the market. Comes with a serviceable scope and shoots moa or slightly sub moa on both .223 and .22-250 with nearly any shelf stock ammo.

You might want to stay away from the R-25's and R-15's. There are a lot of people who have had great success with them, but it never failed that every month I would have someone bringing me one wanting to send it back because it wouldn't group at all. Tried their guns myself (to make sure it wasn't just operator error) and I had to agree. It's a crap shoot with them. I do however strongly believe in the Tikka rifles, I think that for the money they are extremely hard to beat. Course if you don't mind spending a bit of cash then I would suggest that you track down an older Kleingunther (not the newer models), I can promise that you will not be dissapointed with his work.

Yes. Either a Predator Hunter or an 11 BTH if you want a pretty gun. I have a safe full of Savages. I'm a fan because they're very accurate and easily user-customizable.

This one started life as a used beater .30-06 sporter. It's now a 6mm Remington Ackley Improved (fast twist). Barrel, stock, trigger, everything was changed at home.

I have a Remington VTR in .22-250. It is extremely accurate and easy to carry.
