Good point. Those larger stickers have a perf line down the middle and all you really need is to stick the portion with the bar code and year to your vehicle. The other half I usually discard and throw away.

Thats the sticker I have always bought. Is the one you order online different?

Yes, it's higher then wide. Mine measured 3 1/2 high by 2 wide. Will try to post a picture later.

Yes they are a little different, but not by much. The quality is much better where they don't fade from the sunlight or washing. Size wise they are not that much smaller than the large printed out ones and are taller and narrower by comparison.

Go to your local motorcycle dealer; you used to be able to get the nice plastic tags there... I just but mine at the local sporting goods store here in town; I care not what it looks like!

But then again, I just keep mine in the glove box... I know the DNR could give me some hassle; but I will take my chances until they force the issue.
