Joe,

I hope that you didn't take that jab about "kiss rock" toward you, it was a jab at NGINIER for have a new Rubi and not trying anything technical. It wasn't meant as anything bad toward him either, just a jab.

Uh oh.... my name came up... I was wondering if that was going to happen. I figured it would come from Emily... Nancy.... Kitty...Princess or whatever the hell we are calling her this week. Nice work Mitch... let me know if you want me to show you how to turn your A/C off...

Ill be back for the step later, and you're right, I probably could have done kiss rock, next time...

I can do the lift party next weekend. I can't bring any tools to the table and I've never installed a lift, but I'll be there!!

Your ears must have been burning! We were all at the bar talking about where the hell you've been? What happened to you? Glad to see you back on the forum

I'm always lurking... when were you guys at the bar?

Truth be told, I've been busy, I started my job today and I've been looking at houses a lot lately... It looks like things should be settling down soon though, my close date is at the end of this month

Oh and is the 4.5" RE LA really the end all be all of lift kits?

You know us old guys are always at a bar somewhere. I hear you about the house thing, Ricks guys are doing my tile and my house is in shambles (?)

As far as the RE kit this is how I see it, everyone always tells you whatever they have is the best. That's not me, not ever. I just tell people what my experience is and if I'm happy and if I'd buy again. So far I'm really happy with my lift but I can't honestly tell you it's better than others without owning them. I can tell you my kit is very stout and I would recommend it.

You should come by my place when we do James kit and see what you think.

I'll be there, as long as its not tomorrow or Sunday...

I'm just trying to get all of the information I can about the lifts now and talk to people who own them so I can make a good decision. I really only see myself lifting this Jeep once, and I want to do it right with a solid lift. No skipping track bars or having off centered axles or any of that. And of course, as with the majority of Tucson wheelers, flex is my biggest priority. I dont mud, I play on rocks(or at least try to, or think about trying to...)

I'm really thinking about doing something mid to late summer as far as lifts go but we'll have to see how things work out... keep us all posted on the lift party

It looks like one week from this Sunday. I don't know if I told you this or not, but I used to own a chassis shop. We installed a lot of lifts and fixed many ill designed parts. I always tell people they get what they pay for.

Just looked at the calendar, week from Sunday is my wife & I's Anniversary, so I'm a no go, but make sure to get some pics and if Nginier does a lift, I want to make that one to see how it all goes together.

See you in the morning, I'm off to bed as I need to leave at 6.

Must be nice, I have to pick up the wife at the airport at 1am. She needs to cut back on the hours, if not it'll cut into my wheelin'

Who am I kidding! I'll be out wheelin' when I'm dead!
