I thought they were repairing the mud hole on MSV on Sat the 26th. I wouldn't expect it to be open yet. Might want to call or stop by the forest service office in Boulder.

Good to know, I'll see if LeftHandRubi can check on that. Now that begs the question...why on Earth would you repair a mud hole???

Yep, they re repairing it on the 26th and 27th. I remember the hole. I went through it at the end of last year and tore my rear flare off on the passenger side. According to the ranger's office, if things go right, it should be open later in the day on the 27th.

Cudos to Trail Ridge Runners for working on this trail.

That hole must be big enough to swallow small planets if it damaged the LeftHandRubi....

It was a huge hole. I saw pictures last year where it nearly swallowed a lifted Suzuki Samurai. He was trying to creep by on one side and the back end slid into the hole. It was so deep that he was taking in water over the tailgate.
