I pieced together my own hydro assist last year for about $300 with all brand new components. Everything has been sitting on my workbench since. I just discovered a considerable amount of play in my sector shaft and don't want to pursue porting this box. Its a 2010 painted steering box so it isn't rebuildable to the best of my knowledge, so I need a replacement.

I may just pull this box and tap it anyway for the time being. It's survived this long with a sloppy shaft... I can't imagine reducing the load on the box can make anything worse

Any one interested in a oil pan skid plate for the 3.8 from ASFIR. Or a E-disco skid both in good condition. I got a new 10A Rubicon so they don't fit. If your interested let me know. I'm not looking for full value or anything.

There are lots of trails East of Florence or North of Mesa. Either watch for runs on this forum or buy the Guide to Arizona Backroads and 4-Wheel Drive Trails and find the trail you want to go on. But I do not recommend going out by yourself.
