Just got word that Avondale Jeep off of I-10 and 99th Ave is having a free BBQ and Jeep Event this Saturday 10/27. Nothing huge like Jeep Jam but free food always sounds good to me. There will be a few Jeep clubs there and some rock buggies. It's from 11-3pm. I will be there, so if you have some time stop by!

I'm planning a 3 year goal to move to the southwest from GA, how is the Phoenix area for jeeping?

My career background is 8 years law enforcement...... Any thoughts on work environment is helpful too.

Welcome! AZ is ideal for off-roading in various geo regions; except when it is 120 degreees during July, Aug, Sep. All other months, the weather is perfect! Many of the major Jeep vendors are also located out here in SW.

Phx area has more than just great jeeping. As awesomo put it we got trails for days.

We also have some good PD departments out here if thats what your into.

We also have proximity to moab, rubicon, and las cruces wheeling. As well as vegas, san diego, rocky point and every style of snowboarding you can imagine within driving distance!
