Bob did you buy it powder coated or just bare steel/ aluminum?

Not really a difference on the gauge but you can see the heat waves rising from the hood so that's evidence enough for me.

Cool, have you noticed if the engine is running cooler? Or at least can feel the heat coming from the hood louvers.

While sitting on the trail you can see some heat waves coming from the hood. Once the fan kicks on, you can feel the heat being pushed out.
