Default Back road to Crown King ?

Sorry guys if this has been asked a 100 times but the search feature is not working.
I plan on taking a couple friends out and want to do the lake pleasant to crown king run.
1. what do you think the average time frame of run is from lake pleasant to CK?
2. from internet searches it looks like a stocker could make this with no problems. right?
3. is the trail pretty easy to follow with out using gps way points?
Thanks for any replies,
Gary

I haven't done the run myself but I've heard a ton on it... Run will take you a few hours (depends on how much any of you play) crazy amounts of dust, and stock jeeps can do it. There is parts where stock can not go!, but there is option side trails to go around those parts so no worries.

Most of CK is graded with some difficult obstacles you can try. But for the most part its fairly easy. Probably around 4-6 hours depending on how many stops and breaks you take.

Your looking at about 35-45 min to get to the ck rock from the t junction at lake pleasant then add about 4-6 hours to do the trail depending on if you stop for pics or try shortcuts. A stock jeep can def do the trail. Shortcuts will be limited but some can be done based on driver ability. Then it takes about and 45 min to get back to freeway down front side and bumble bee exit is about 30 min north of phx.
Hope this helps have fun

Looks good i guess I've been lucky still on my stock first one. Thats a good upgrade idea did you have to get new tie rod ends or just use original ones. How long is the Dom i might try that idea.

Let me know if you want one, way cheaper than going the Rock Krawler way... Nothing from the factory tie rod was used, it was thrown in the trash where it belongs.
