That location sounds cool BUT it's a LONG way from us out here in South Chandler and Gilbert. It's a good 45 minute drive. Not too bad on the way there, but a LONG way after the obligatory M&G

We are always open for other options. If you know a place put it out there for the next first Saturday of the month.

Generally we are looking for:

1) Good jeep parking, eg where we can all be parked near each other, has some parking lot lights or near the bar/resturant entrance.

2) (For summer) Outside seating

3) Kid friendly

4) Somewhat reasonable for a lot of people to drive to.

5) Bar with food

6) etc

October to May in the desert southwest is absolutely the best time of the year to really understand how sweet it is to be a part of the Jeep culture Good luck with the purchase of that Unlimited, any Jeep is a nice addition.

Heading up to Skunk Creek Flats Friday night (11th) for a few beers. I'll probably get out there around 6:30 if anyone is looking for something to do Friday. Maybe we can make this a mini aftermath meet

Jeeps going to dealership this am. Death Wobble x2 within 30secs of each other. So far they are telling me its my SS, needs to be alined, and balance tires...
Is buying the extened warrenty worth it? He said like 2500 bucks for a basic one?

SS, do you mean steering stabilizer? If so they are lying to you. The steering stabilizer only will help hide death wobble, it is not the cause of death wobble.

Use planman's write up to go over your jeep to fix death wobble. It is better than the dealership tying to bs you into coverup fix like a steering stabilizer.

Also make sure when you inspect your track bar and control arms that you make sure the bushings are not worn out, have play or that the holes are wallowed out. Then when you put everything back together, tighten everything to spec when the jeep is on the ground/under load. This includes the lock nuts on adjustable control arms and track bars.

Good luck and be safe.

Default Custom truss and Bolted to truss front Diff cover

Well this is what ya gotta do when ya "pop the tubes" (axle tubes come loose from differential third member (pumpkin)on the front axle). My tires were like this /-\ so I chained and used a 20 ton jack to straightened the front tubes and got the front tires like this l l and then welded in the truss and bolted the front diff cover to the truss.
