Well Nov 5th M&G isnt off to a good start!, I say we finally do the Skunk Creek Flats Bar & Grill! If you guys wanna roll with that, I say meet time on Saturday Nov 5th will be at 6pm

x2!! The rim is awesome! Figure a solid 2-2.5 hours to get up there, but well worth it. FR 300 is a dirt road, as mentioned, so it can get pretty crowded at times... But it'll be fairly cold now, so there won't likely be much of a crowd. Theres a ton of back-country camping spots along 300, but if you go explore some of the side trails (which passenger cars can't) you'll find some gorgeous secluded spots up there. I've had elk run through my camping spot before. And if it gets too cold for you, I think there's an old hotel in Strawberry. Have fun!
