Nope. Fits fine next to the evap. I think it sounds good and will do just what you're looking for on the trail. Its definitely more noticeable at idle than stock but not obnoxious. You can hear it slightly at crusing speed but not annoying.

I have the same muffler... Joe (owner - B&M) is a great guy, a friend and does all my mechanic work...

If you go to his web site he has a sound clip of my jeep with about 4 different mufflers.
