I'm off the 21-22 and 4-5. But have side work kind of set up for both weekend.

Looks like you all had a great run!

i dont use AC so that wont add to any overheating issues for me.
If you come down here you will be usein AC!The only overheating issues ppl have is the auto tranys. You just need to learn your way around that. It gets very hot in the summer, but we just put the tops on and turn the AC full blast.

As far as the auto tranny gettin hot, when you go up long switch backs while out wheelin put it in 4 low in 2 gear or drive with o/d off, the reason is to keep RPM in moderate range (don't lug it), the torque converter will basically slip less (creating less heat), also to get the electric fan to turn on, turn on the A/C and set the temp settin to mid or a little cooler level, or you can install a tranny cooler and it will dissapate more of the heat acting like a heat sink. Some have problems and some don't, I've had problems on slow switch-backs and shooting dunes (I was 4 HI and 2nd gear, you gotta have speed shootin dunes) at Glamis.

As far as you and heat, a lot of it has to do with you and your tolerance, I was out here b4 for 8 years with 2 toyota 4wheelers and no A/C, we wheeled in the summer also, things get ugly at about 106 and above for me, I use to pass a bank with temp sign everyday, I noticed!

Default Coves

I have heard so much about the coves I am dying to try it. Always up for another Table Mesa run also, that was a blast. And Love- I ran it with the stock BFG mud terrains. Granted I was locked, but others were not and the made it.

Looks like the Salt to Young run was a lot of fun. I just couldn't get myself up that early after working late.

I did manage to talk some of my coworkers into taking their stock TJ's out by Lake Pleasant, first time off road for them. They did great, and both want to lift their Jeeps now. I have asked them to join the M&G but they are afraid we would mock them for having TJ's, and stock at that
