Default November 7,8,9 - Before it snows, 3 day weekend in Crown King anyone?

Here's a small list of ghost towns in Yavapai County. I wanna see 'em all !!!

Yavapai

* Alexandra
* Bumble Bee
* Cherry
* Clemenceau
* Cordes
* Crown King
* Jerome Junction
* Piedmont
* Stanton
* Tip Top

There are 'rooms' for overnight above the whore-house/bar in Crown King. The whore house closed in the 1960's, but the bar is still THE OLDEST BAR STILL IN EXISTENCE IN ARIZONA.
There is a live band Friday and Sturday, usually with younger cute girls. (no joke)

If we plan ahead, this could be a real good weekend. I can call the owner of the Gladiator Mine (he's a friend and former client of mine, lives in Canada) and I can get permission to camp on his 170 acres of land in Crown King. There is REAL GOOD 4 wheeling around the property as the roads washed out years ago, and the only way to get around is 4 by mule, or quad.

So say you guyz?

If I put this thing together for say NOVEMBER 7TH, 8TH, & 9TH, would you be enticed to go? Thats a Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Could we please get this to be a reality? Talk to your wives see if we can go? (It would be a fun Stag group, but thats up for a vote)

Yes?

No?

Let the wife decide?

I have rented the ENTIRE Cedar Roost hotel for us all. It's cheap if we split it. As low as $25 A NIGHT EACH, BUNK STYLE. You can also sleep in your Jeep in the parking lot right outside the room doors. There are 6 rooms. 2 rooms sleep 4, 4 rooms sleep 2.

Great fun!! Whatcha think? btw: They dont take credit card,so you gotta have cash at checkin.

It's a fantastic place to throw a weekend party for sure. Management is crazy as a loon. It's a 10 minute crawl to the bar. Breakfast is AWESOME at the two restaurants in town, but these cabins do come with a small kitchen, and each has a BBQ Included.

We can move the dates, no problem.... what dates would you like? Wanna go play in the snow also?

Always ready to listen to others and their ideas. I know the owner of the hotel, and given enough notice, again, we can own the place for 3 days.

Ask a few people to get out their calendars, see what weekend you guys want !!!
