Default Looking for Quick Albuquerque Trails

Hey I'm going to be in Albuquerque this weekend and was wondering if there are any quick trails I can run in an afternoon around there by chance?

Mountains I would say up north, red river. I would do a red river run. Gotta check the funds though first.

You can head to the Jemez Mountains just north of Albuquerque, easy trails but very scenic. Go to Jemez Springs, NM and just past it is a Ranger Station, they have maps of whats open.

if you are looking for a close quick run head up to cedro peak it is about 15 min east of the city limits it is all trees and trails from ez to full in crawling it is off of south 14 and there is a ranger station with maps about 3 miles south on s14 and i40. jemez is a hour or so north nice and a lot of trees, toas is beautiful but 3 hours north of alb. so just depends on what you are looking for and time wise

this is a over view of cedro

Do the Cedro Peak trail. It's about a 2-4 hour trail and quite nice!
