I went ahead and threw my vote in as well. I'm all for Canyone De Chelly because it's closer to where I'll be living and I'm more likely to make it down for that.

HAHA! Invasion from the North!

All right, I'm starting to get some ideas here, looks like most want to do Sedona. How does October 10-13 sound? Do runs on Sat., Sun & Monday for those that can stick around? I'm putting together a list of trails that sound good, but by no means is this all of them. I also think it would be great to head to Jerome for lunch one day. I've been there when 100+ Harley's roll in and it's an awesome sight. I think it would be just as awesome to see a bunch of JK's pull into town.

Trails list (so far)
Van Deren Cabin
Greasy Spoon
Broken Arrow Soldier Pass
Rattlesnake Canyon
Smiley Rock
Oak Creek Homestead

I plan to run all these and any others we come up with before the big get together so I'm familiar with them. I'll be sure to let you know when I plan to go so if you want to join me. The runs will cover all levels of ability so everyone will be able to do enough runs.

Camping and accomodations are in abundance down there, but I'd like to know how many are planning to camp as it would be great if I could book a full campground for us. If you plan to stay in a Hotal, also let me know. If enough want to stay in a hotel, we can look to reserve a block of rooms.

For those that want to do Canyon De Chelly, I'm thinking of doing that next Spring Break.

Let me know if you have any trail suggestions, places to stay ideas, or really anything at all. I've been there many times, but I know there is a lot more to do there than what I've seen.

Sounds Great!

I prefer camping but the wife will probably wants the amenities of a hotel. She thinks camping is going to the Hilton! Oh well. I can't wait for this run and to meet some of the people on the Forum.

Count us In!

we went up to Sedona again this weekend ( just can't get enough ) anyway did a new one Diamondback gulch off 89 w ( its left off of 179 ) you go past dry creek road and get on FR525 ( its a state park i think ) then look for 9513 on the right, and/also its on the left too (i went right ). Nice long trail nothing to hard but the trail is a lot rougher then some of the other trails up there. It could be fun for a group run. Plus there's a ton more all over that area. When you pull in theres a map of all the trails and where they go.

so when ever you guys are read....

I know what you mean, there are so many trail up there and the scenery is unbeleivable. I've heard of that trail, but never ran it. Thnaks for saring, I'll add that to the list of trails to check out.

I'm interested, but don't know where any of those trails are. (with Sedona and Flagstaff being exceptions)

Those dates in Oct look good as well. Let's just say I'm in if it's less than a day drive from Taos.
