Four Corners South Group Run

Four Corners South Group Run
Because the Four Corners area is so large, utahgoose and I decided to split our group run into two runs. The goal is to get a run that is in a location that's close enough to both Phoenix and Albuquerque that the largest number of people possible can make it. There will be a North run as well, and anyone who would like to go on that, is more than welcome.
For the South run, we have several ideas so far and we would love to have more. I've put the two ideas that we have up on the poll, and will add more ideas as they come it.
Canyon De Chelly - Wonderful scenery withsome decent chalenges, though anyone with stock should have no issues. There are also several other trails in the area that are relatively easy, but have beautiful scenery. I'm currently hunting for some more difficult trail in the area for those that want more of a challenge. It's about 6-7 hrs from Phoenix and about 5 hours from Albuquerque. Good time to go is the fall.
Sedona - Also has wonderful scenery, but a lot more in the way of challenging trails, plus many that stock will get through. About 6 hours from Albuquerque, 2 from Phoenix. Good time to go is about anytime, but fall & winter are nice times, summer can getupwards and over 100.
Flagstaff Area - Quite a few trails in the Flagstaff area, some that can be challenging, but most are easy to moderate. About 2-3 hours from Phoenix and 5 hours from Albuquerque. Good time to go is summer or fall.
I don't know much of what NM has to offer, so please let us know if there is a great area that is central to these main areas, possibly in the Apache Sitegraves National Forest Area in either NM or AZ.
I'm still looking for something a little more central, but these seem to both be a resonable distance, though Canyon De Chelly is farther from Phoenix than I had thought. Either Canyon De Chelly or Sedona would also be a delight for photographers and those that enjoy unique scenery.
The poll is just to get us started and we certainly are not restricted to these locations.

I am refraining from voting because it is a bit for of a drive. Depending on the days I may not be able to go. The closest is a 9 hour drive. I would vote for the closest one, but again not sure of the dates as that will depend on if I can go (or should vote).

There really isn't much to run in Flagstaff, other than fire roads or old logging roads that are not very tough you could go out to the cinders but that gets old very quickly, but definetly worth seeing.

We may be interested in going, but not if we have to drive a long distance to get there. We haven’t been to Canyon De Chelly yet - and we would like to go some day - but I think it would be a multi-day event. We were up in Greer for a vacation a few summers ago and drove around and explored a few caves in New Mexico. Looked like there were trails in the area, but again it would be a long trip for us.
We’ve gone on day trips to Sedona and Flagstaff, so that would be our preference, though Sedona would probably be our first pick. Also, our suspension is still stock, so we would prefer runs that our Jeep could handle.

Bump back to the top. It's been quiet lately.
Right now it looks like Sedona is leading, but I'm not sure if any of our NM residents have chimed in. I'm going to keep this going just a little longer, but will look to make a decision on a location soon, so I can start looking at camping spots & hotel information, plus compiling a list of trails in the area that people may want to do.
