Default Rebel Off Road Goes to Easter Jeep Safari 2016

Day 1 of trail running.

Our first day of hitting the trails was spent on Hells Revenge. We tackled Hell's Gate after waiting an hour for some quads to try and make it up. Some of the guys in our group were experiencing this trail for the first time and we were impressed with how well they handled it. Each day will be marked at the top of the post along with a short description of the day and trails visited. Enjoy!

We ended up having to wait for about an hour while 3 guys on quads attempted to climb Hell's gate.

Day 2
We decided to change the plans up a little and not hit up Metal Masher. Instead we woke up at 4:30AM and made our way over to Poison Spyder with plans of connecting over to Golden Spike. The first hour and a half was spent rolling up Poison Spyder in the dark. And man was it cold out. We later connected over to Golden Spike. We had one of the best views ever with our lunch. Couldn't be beat. This trail is one of Bonds favorites and with the scenery in the background we found it hard to argue. Made our way to Golden Crack where Chris got stuck for the first time that day and not the last . Had to perform a little winching operation to save his butt. Everyone did extremely well for those who's first rock crawling trip it was. We spent about 9 hours that day making our way through the trail. By the end of the day all of us were pretty exhausted and in need of adult beverages.
