I was also talkig about the other spot. Here is advise for anyone wheeling on state ground. This is not directed toward anyone. If you are wheeling and open your phone and map, and your not directly on a named road or if you have the paper maps from the state forest service and road or trail is not there. Then you are in an illegal area period. Any small or large side pits etc are also illegal. Even go arounds are technically illegal but they don't write you up for them.

Just cause there are not signs doesn't mean it's not off limits. Someone before you could have ripped them down which if very highly possible

Saw this on mobile and JKMAX beat me to the reply before I could to a real computer.

Like JKMAX said. If GPS does not have you on a named road you are likely on off limits state land or private land. You will not find terrain like that in the video on legal public land. In fact posting video like that provides fuel to the effort to restrict motorized vehicle access to state land.

I was once on a big public ride and people in the group I was with wondered 30 feet off the trail onto some sandy berms and get ticketed. Rangers were sitting there like a speed trap. $75 tickets were issued for the illegal trail and additional fines were assessed for fender coverage and license plates. And yes there is a speed limit on the legal trails.

Wheel legally and responsibly while we can still wheel at all.......

I said this same stuff on the stokes thread. If it's not on a map it illegal. In nj "offroading" is illegal. Depending on ur attitude, the officers attitude, and how idiotic of a thing u were doing all depends on ur out-come. Let's be honest we stumble upon unmsrked spots all the time, we ALL need to stop, use our brains and think before we go any father. Can i get in trouble for this? Chances are if ur asking urself that, u possibly shouldn't be doing it. There's a few "off limits" spots local to me, but officers come back just to make sure there are no booze or drugs, they don't care if we're just wheeling and NOT DESTROYING anything. So Chances are those lil honey holes in the map pics the cops don't bust ur chops but if it's not on the map.....their not legal.

What JKMAX posted is completely true and that goes for the ENTIRE STATE. He is soneone who cares about our lands and don't want to see them shut down like the rest of us. So let's Tread Lightly guys!

Thanks JKMAX! See u at the clean up in a few weeks!
