Question SWR Meter to JK fest?

Does anybody out there have an SWR meter for tuning their CB's that they can bring to JK Fest and help me tune my CB?

i have no idea what any of that means....

seriously though, thanks. i have been reading that tuning the antenna is important. i dont plan on using the CB for other than on the trail, but i dont want to damage anything!

and damn.... i love this forum, i really like how people step up to help others out. this place is GREAT

I need the same thing. If I go get one can a newby figure it out or is this something that an experienced installer/enthusiast should do?
Got a Midland 1001z, ultramount and 4' Firestik 2.

should be done by someone who knows what they are doing. many factors in checking swrs. need to be in a open area at least 50 yards from people, cars, trees, anything. the doors need to be shut and everyone testing needs to be inside the vehicle. i d say about 75% of the time you can get away with just adjusting the antenna, but i see alot the antenna needs to have a ground strap added to the mount and the radio needs to hard wired and not just plugged into the cigarette lighter.
